Legal description in. Plat out.
Hate drawing metes and bounds? Imagine the time you'll save.
Snap a deed, open a PDF or paste the calls. EZ Map AI reads every THENCE call and draws the tract to scale, with acres, closure, overlaps and unit allocation. Built for landmen, title examiners and mineral professionals.
Everything a landman checks, in one plat
Every call stays in an editable list next to the drawing, so you can check it against the record.
Reads any description
Photos of deeds, typed or scanned PDFs, pasted text. EZ Map AI handles hard-to-read scans, varas, chains, curves and tie calls.
Acres and closure
Calculated acres beside stated acres, closure error and precision, and a flag on descriptions that don't close.
Overlaps and gaps
Drag, rotate and snap tracts together. EZ Map measures overlaps and narrow gaps in acres or square feet.
Unit allocation
Each tract's acres inside the unit and its share to eight decimals, plus unit royalty from each lease.
Finds the typo
When a description doesn't close, EZ Map tests the usual misreads and points to the call that's most likely wrong.
Exports
PDF reports with every call, JPEG plats, KML for Google Earth, Shapefiles for GIS, and allocation tables for Excel.
How it works
From the courthouse copy to a plat you can send, in about a minute.
Add the description
Take a photo, open the PDF, or paste the text. A lease with several tracts comes in as separate tracts.
Review the calls
Check each bearing and distance against the document. Fix a call and the plat redraws at once.
Overlay and export
Line tracts up with their neighbors, check the unit, and export the plat or the allocation table.
Plans
Every plan includes unlimited tracts, projects and exports. The difference is how many EZ Map AI reads you get each month. Start with a 7-day free trial.
- All plotting, overlap and allocation tools
- PDF, KML, Shapefile and CSV exports
- Everything in Basic
- Three times the AI reads, for heavy title work
- Everything in Pro for each user
- Shared team projects
When a month's AI reads run out, the Android app keeps reading photos on the phone. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. One subscription works on the web and in the Android app.
Free beta for landmen
We're picking 20 landmen to try EZ Map on Android before it launches on Google Play. Free for the whole beta. iPhone app coming soon.
